WEDNESDAY... had business etiqutte and service excellence lesson.. so i had to wear my business suit and had to squeeze with many ppl on the bus! it was a RAINY DAY! not jus a drizzle... but a heavy downpour.. haha... wat a day to start wit eh? well.. i met jonas aka jorge on the bus...well.. he saw me and sms-ed me... haha.. so ya... i alighted bus 806 finally and waited for another bus... bus 969... thats what i've been doing every weekday morning... so i boarded bus 969 finally and i had to stood on the bus wearing all nice-nice, in my black pumps for like almost a hour! thks to the traffic jam and that was when i started panicking of me being late on my very first lesson of biz ettiquette! but i couldn't simply jumped off the bus which is caught in a traffic jam and simply flagged a plane from the sky and fly me to TP right?! haha... if thats possible and its cheap... I WILL DEFINATELY DO THAT! too bad i couldn't.. so i simply had to wait for the bus to make its way to tampines interchange and guess what.. there a super duper crowd of people waitiong for bus 23 lah! I WAS LATE! ARGH! oh well... anyway... clara was chosen to be the class rep! haha.. congrats to her! so for the rest of the day... i was in my business suit and i had a whole day of tutorials.. blah blah blah... biz excellence, accounting and finally travel and tour operations... haha... had fun and a lot of laughter in that lesson.. cos my class was all lively and miss ivy tan was very nice and funny, full of expressions... haha.. and i came to a conclusion for that class... chan brothers is the "only " travel agency that we ever know of... haha.. miss ivy tan almost "fainted" after hearing our response... haha.. ya.. so ended my day with my feet with blisters and hurting...
THURSDAY...woke up and i realise that i had a asthmatic relapse and ya... seriously dun feel like going to school... but service skills methodology is one class that i dun like to mess with... so i dragged and dressed myself up in the uniform.. haha.. actually i look ok with my hair let down but the sad thing is.. i gotta bun up my hair and i look "not-so-presentable".. so sorry guys... no pictures of me in that uniform... haha.. so ya... a bad day to start with.. raining and me not feeling well... oh well... haha.. we finally had our lockers and we left our stuff there... so reported for class and we were checked for our grooming... i was caught for my nails lah! my nails was like 0.15cm short only lah! and i found out that we weren't supposed to have nails after all... sob sob.. i jus gotta get used to not having any nails... bye bye to my pretty nails for the rest of the months... well.. we started with learning how to adjust the table settings in accordance to the captain's order... i did pretty badly for that lah! cos i was stressed up and i got messed up when mr goh came and giving sarcastic remarks! grrr... and he's like yelling at us lah.. guess that i'll have to learn and get used to him asap... haha... and den we were taught the tachniques of carrying 2 plates with 1 hand... i did badly for that part again... cos my HANDS ARE TOO SMALL and THE PLATES ARE TOO BIG! i was allowed to use the smaller plates and not the larger one.. but i still barely can handle the heavy plates... the smaller ones ain't exactly small... only A LITTLE BIT SMALLER den the LARGER ones lah!
so we had lunch and reported back for lesson... haha.. we were taught wine service.. haha... i didn't do well for the wine opening part.. cos i didn't had any strength and thx to mr goh again.. u'll know what he'll do lah.... YELLING and making sarcastic remarks... haha... but i did pretty well for the wine pouring... haha... this proves that i can pour wine properly... but not for a whole two hours plus... haha... so ya..was happy with myself and MR TAI DROPPED IN! he wasn't with us before lunch.. sob sob... haha... he's really nice lah... so he pretended to be guest and we had a "toast"... haha.. a pretended one.."cheers!"... so after having wine service and seeing that the rain had stopped... we went to have an "outdoor activity".. haha.. u must be wondering... ain't waitressing supposed to be indoors?! why is there even an outdoor activity?! ok... the answer to your question is... we were outdoors to carry the large banquet trays with BRICKS and we were to walk a round! haha.. i only to managed to carry 2 bricks given the fact that i'm wearing court shoes, my physical strength and my petite size... haha... but my class managed to break the previous record lah! the guy managed to carry 9 bricks and the gals managed to carry 6 bricks! I'm so envious of them lah! haha.. so ya.. after lesson.. i went to find my aunt and stayed at her house for the night! She cooked pork chop for me lah! YUMMY YUMMY! so ya.. that ended my day... with many thanks to kimberly, kenneth, mayson and of cos... CLARA.. for all ur help! thx a great deal!
FRIDAY... haha... had a blocked nose and i couldn't breathe properly... wanted to dragged myself to school but i didn't... cos i'm afraid that i might faint on the way, in school or on the way back from school.... haha... so i went to see the doc and got my MC... and those pills and syrups! YUCKS! i've been feeling drowsy after taking those medicine so i practically sleep, rested and slacked for the whole day... haha.. that ended my day too... Zijia's having chicken pox and i knew from laura's blog that huiqi is sick... so i hope that they'll get well soon too! AND TO THOSE WHO'S READING THIS POST NOW... drink lots of water and eat more fruits... weather has been bad.. so do take care of yourselves... thats all folks
