I love Zack! Haha... the male character of cos... he's very sweet, gentle and protective! Haha... and who's the girl that Zack love? Well... her name is Jean aka Jinx... Jean had always believe that she's born to be unlucky...always screwing things up! Due to a certain incident... she flew off from her hometown and went to live with her cousin, Tory. That was where she meet Zack for the very first time and both had a crush on one another(without the other knowing!)
It was unknown to many that Jean's and Tory's ancestress is none other than a WITCH! So it was said that after many generation, there will be one daughter in the family who will suceed the powers! The chosen one! Due to that certain incident, Jean feared that she has the powers and therefore, refuse to embrace it. On the other hand, Tory believe that she's the one who had succeed the powers and she is very into that witch thing... she does everything that she thinks a witch does, wearing black clothes, casting love spells and so on... all that she does, affects one's will. Jean having gone through that certain incident, believe that magic is not one thing to be messed with and seeing her cousin being so INTO it... she decided that she'll be the one to stop Tory's doings! So that's how Jean got the wrong side of Tory and that stage a WAR between the two... not a war of magic of cos! Tory jus did many mean things to Jean which i feel that it is very likely due to JEALOUSY or really is! Haha... But it is also thanks to Tory's evil doings that enhance the importance of Zack!
Zack and Jean is indeed a very cute couple! Zack cares for Jean very much and Jean for Zack too! Zack is the one that matters most to Jean, Jean doesn't care whether other believe her or not, she only cares abt Zack's reactions!
And abt that certain incident, Tory is using that to plot against Jean! That certain incident happens to be that Jean once cast a love spell and that cause the most popular guy is her hometown school to be head over heels in love with her! That is when things went wrong and that guy started to follow her around and wanting to be her every min or rather... Jean to be with him! Jean's parents got worried and therefore sends Jean to New York! Things the Tory plot is going way wrong up till a point when Tory could possibly have murdered Jean during the blood ritual! And tadah... That's when: Zack's to the rescue! After the rescue, came the sweet confession... and trust me... its really sweet and i suppose any gal would have been melted by it!
All in all... i really anjoyed the book and probably will read it all over again! So if you guys are free and interested, you may want to check this book out!
