Its nearly two weeks since i last blogged, which is like half a month?! and within these two weeks, many things happened... the aftermath of the cyclone which hit myanmar and nonetheless, the earthquake that has claim the lifes of many in sze chuan.
As you flip the newspapers or turn on the news these days, all you will see and hear of are pictures of the ruins left and tragic stories of those who had lost their loved ones. There are some who escaped and survived but things were never the same for them. Now and then, you will read on touching stories of how noble parents could be to save their child or how one could survive based on their love for the other half.
Here I am, as normal as could be, praying with all my heart that many more could be saved, have their homes rebuild and may all tragedies come to an end.
OK... let's put aside the sad and depressing stuff and comes back to my mudane life....
Well oh well... nothing worth mentioning, other than the fact that i finally settled my internship placement problem, I'm settling with five stars travel after much considerations and finally realised that my dad was in fact very supportive of me joining this company, only that he chose to keep quiet during the past few days so as not to affect my decision. So during attachment, i'll be really busy and will have to prepare and expect OTs and working during public holidays, but that's all for the sake of gaining more EXPERIENCE!
so i shall say "hi!" to CHALLENGES!
and on a random note, my brother decided to challenge me to daytona that other day, so end up i suggested that the whole family (my dad, mum, bro and me) had a race at northpoint timezone!
Haha... i came in second with my bro in the third place and my mum last. who won??? MY DAD!
He jus suddenly zoom in outta nowhere so end up, I came in second when I should have been first! Too bad for me, since I was only expecting my brother to be at the back and the ONLY one to be competing with me for the first position. 太轻敌了!
